Gail and I headed to Ellicottville for a quick winter get-away. A one night stay at the Black Dog Lodge http://www.blackdoglodge.com. Our hosts Linda and Rick Miester and their 2 dogs Max and Angus were wonderful. If you are ever in Ellicottville and need a place to stay, look no further. A ride on Holiday Valley’s mountain coaster http://www.holidayvalley.com/HolidayValley/info/mountain-coaster.aspx and catching up with friends made for a great time.
Looks like Fun! I didn’t know Holiday Valley had a coaster!
they just put it in over the summer. the coaster only goes about 3/4 the way up from the tannenbaum lodge, i would have liked a longer ride, but fun none the less
do they have a size limit my 7 yearold grandson would love that!
Joe, I do not believe there was a size limit, saw many small kids ride alone and with adults. The cars can handle 2 riders. You just have to be stong enough to hold the brake handle forward for the downhill run.
The cost was $6. w/ lift ticket, $8 w/o, and i think there was an allday pass as well.
