The Year of the “WWF & TopGun”. 2019 Session recap

2019 was one crazy year again.  It was even worse than last year for surfing & wind (and last year was soo bad). If you’re a high wind junky you have to be losing your mind, but on the flip side if you have a TopGun/GoFoil kit, you are having the time of your life.  You’re having soo much fun in 5-15kt that its makes you not even give a shit about 15-25kt.   It truly is a game changer. As a result, 2019 was a huge year in The Board Room.  I spent a lot of time pumping out as many of these TopGun boards as I could. I am not going to lie, I am exhausted, but seeing soo many riders throughout the country and locally now having the time of their life riding these boards truly makes it all worth it. Spreading the stoke never gets old. Hopefully I can expand on that in 2020. Looks like another busy year ahead so lets get this party started Reef Warriors!

Turning the Page, 2017 Session Recap

Well 2017 is going down as “Awesome”.   It was Pretty much a repeat of 2016 except supercharged.  Its was another year were Dareef was Liquid all year, that made  accomplishing my goal of 100 days in the waves easy, and now that I have found my niche in the Foiling game , with “Surf foiling” its going to be sooo easy to get 100days every year.

Now that I am looking back at the last 12 months it was a incredible year of so many first. Building 2 Special Boards (Red Barron, Mystery Machine) that really broke the boundaries of what is possible was awesome by itself.  Then to be truly at the for front of an emerging sport with Surf & Surf wind foiling is such a addicting rush.  I will never forget the luck of catching and experiencing some of the best hurricane surf in Hatteras ever!  Last but not lest,  getting the chance to live on one of the best fresh water surf spots in the world for 100+ sessions, Its hard to imagine a better life.  But hey! ya never know, Bring on 2018 and Da stats.!

2016 Session Recap

2016 Flew by! But yet it felt like an Endless Summer.😉

Wow what a year, 2016 is definitely going down as one of the most fun years in history. It was the windiest year I can ever remember on Da reef and no summer breeze stuff either, when the wind was up it was nuking. I accomplished my goal of 100 days in the waves with ease this year, and also got to surf all 12 months because of the nice warm el-nino winter.  Looking back year after year It still blows my mind that you can surf 100+ days on the great lakes and Da reef every year. In common logic that shit doesn’t supposed to happen, but with the right mindset and lifestyle its so doable, Heck I work 6 days a week and I can pull it off no problem, obviously.   Hopefully 2017 is a repeat, Life is Good.    Now to Da stats!

Farewell to summer 2015

Let’s wish good luck to Casey, Cam, Sandro, and Dave, who are sharing the Reef Warrior stoke with everyone at wave jam in Hatteras.
