Casey’s Blog:

Wow what a year, 2016 is definitely going down as one of the most fun years in history. It was the windiest year I can ever remember on Da reef and no summer breeze stuff either, when the wind was up it was nuking. I accomplished my goal of 100 days in the waves with ease this year, and also got to surf all 12 months because of the nice warm el-nino winter.  Looking back year after year It still blows my mind that you can surf 100+ days on the great lakes and Da reef every year. In common logic that shit doesn’t supposed to happen, but with the right mindset and lifestyle its so doable, Heck I work 6 days a week and I can pull it off no problem, obviously.   Hopefully 2017 is a repeat, Life is Good.    Now to Da stats!

Reef Warrior boards

Casey’s Blog:

Yup you read the title correct, and finally Da Reef will have custom boards to call her own. I have been chained up in the “Board room” all winter, Sipping rum and Mixing epoxy or maybe it’s the other way around? Either way I have completed 3 different Kitesurf models totaling 4 boards. My goal was to create high performance lightweight Kitesurf boards, as with any kind of board I am going to create. So far I am very happy with the results.
I have been riding Kitesurf boards for over 10 years now and I have never ever really been stoked with any board I tried or have owned in that category Kite/Surf/Wake/ect. Thus I had lots of ideas and inspirations floating around my head to make them perform better. Plus I wanted to start off building small instead of big projects like SUP boards, which is up next in the board room. Hint Hint.
